Tech Center Opens in Parker

Training, Computer Sales and Repair for Parker, SD

6-1-2002 -- Opened in June of 2002, the Parker Project is an extension of the Dell Rapids Community Tech Center. We currently offer Computer Sales, Service, Repairs, Upgrades, Parts and Training through the Turner County Printing & Stationery location.

Chamley Enterprises, sponsor for the Dell Rapids Community Technology Center, placed seven Internet and Application ready computers in the community at Turner County Printing and Stationary. Owner Mari Renner is hoping that the community will respond to the new available Free Internet access and classes being offered there. The new location offers assistance for computer sales, repairs, parts and training in addition to the free community access and classes.

Mr. Chamley noted, "You will find Mari Renner there, ready to help you choose a new Dell Computer system for your home or office. If your computer needs repair or an upgrade, Mari can help you schedule a service call to your home or at her repair center. Mary also has computer parts and accessories for the do-it-yourselfers. Training classes and personalized tutoring is available at your convenience. Stop in or call Mari for an appointment."

Mari is also a SeniorNet Instructor for SeniorNet classes which are available through her office location. Mari has a wealth of information and varied products available for those who just need to get some help without traveling to Sioux Falls. Computer Repair Services are performed by trained computer technicians at low, reasonable rates provided by the Dell Rapids Community Technology Center.

Parker was also one of the cities chosen by the United Way Senior Citizen project that Doug Chamley played an integral part in for establishing computer technology for the community senior training projects.
